The idea for this book is to represent Haitian Food, Culture, and the homes they thrive in. The people living in these homes have immigrated to the United States and have integrated Haitian and American Culture. The photos in this book will give people the opportunity to see the bending of these cultures along with the individual lifestyles within the home. These photos will also give off the idea that food is the center of the home, which keeps culture intact. The photos are designed to remind people of home and being cared for by loved ones.
